Rachel, hailing from Lytham St.Annes, Lancashire, is a Mezzo Soprano, based in the north of England, who studied at Leeds College of Music.

 Rachel currently sings with all-female Rock Opera trio "Mercury", who can be found putting an operatic twist on some of rock's greatest anthems.

 Recently, Rachel was cast in Europe's biggest Christmas show Thursford Christmas Spectacular as ensemble and featured opening soloist and is due to appear in 2018's production.

 During her time at music conservatoire, Rachel sang roles such as "The Sorceress" in Henry Purcell's Dido and Aeneas, "Baba" in Gian Carlo Menotti's The Medium and "Misstress of Novices" in Giacomo Puccini's Suor Angelica, which also featured soloists from Opera North.

 She also performed at the renowned Leeds Leider Festival in the "Poets and Composer Showcase".

 Rachel was a member of the reputable Leeds Youth Opera, where she sung the role of "Ulrica" in Giuseppe Verdi's Un Ballo in Maschera. Previous roles with LYO include credits such as "Anita" in Leonard Bernstein's West Side Story.

Other Opera credits are with the celebrated Dorset Opera in productions such as L'eliser d'amore and Un Ballo in Maschera.

 Rachel can be found performing across the UK, in many concerts and recitals at notable venues such as Leeds Town Hall, Blackburn Cathedral, Wakefield Cathedral, The Phoenix Artist Club, and even at SKY HQ.
